(Bottle) Black colour with creamy, dark brown colour. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and spices (cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg). Malty, roasted taste with sweet espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla, molasses, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet liquorice and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. On the sweet side, but really tasty with a nice touch of chai spices. Very nice.

Jet black with a rich brown head. Chocolate and roast with cardamom spice. Much like the nose with a good body. Roasty and nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a large light brown head. Aroma is full of cardamom upfront, followed by nutmeg, ginger, pepper, and harsh roasted malt. Flavour is loaded with deep, complex roast upfront, with gentle additions of cardamom, a touch of nutmeg, and a touch of pepper. Nicely spicy, with a rich deep roast character. The spices work because they're not too abundant. Very nice.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey (RIP). Bottled in 2017. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. Good stuff, chai is present but not dominant. Moderately sweet with some ashy roast, secondary spicy chai, a little mint, chocolate, scorched earth. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more dark chocolate, chai, sturdy roast. Good stuff.

Gott
