Shared bottle 750ml, best before 11/2018:
Dark brown colour, cream coloured foam, opaque.
Liquorice, caramel, Belgian brewing sugar, lightly boozy, lightly carbonated, somewhat oxidised but still very tasty

Bottle. Pours dark brown w/giant foam head. Aroma is citrus & malts. Taste is fruity/nuty/spicy/hoppy. Little bit of bitter to finish off.

В аромате много сухофруктов, немного карамельки и хмеля, также много дрожжей от хлеба. Цвет коричневый, не глубокий, пенка слегка липкая не особо густая. Вкус немного разочаровал. Иметься оттенки от сухофруктов по первой, особенно чернослив. Затем немного сухости при глотке, от хмеля. Послевкусие конечно хлебное, много солода и дрожжей, немного ноток от цветов. Собственно все, по такому рейтингу ожидал большего.

Bottle 0,75ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an fine sweet bitter taste with some warming up abbilities. Hints of caramel, dried fruit and spices. Bought it at the source.

750 ml bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with full head. Aromas of cinnamon rolls, dark fruit with figs leading, soft Belgian yeast and doughy metallic malts. Flavors of dried dark fruit, mineral water, a little Christmas spice and doughy malts. Soft for a mid range Trappists.

Dunkelbraune Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Prägnant malziger Geruch mit Trockenfrüchten. Geschmacklich malzig mit Trockenfrüchten und Sherry. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Nice head. Brown. Aroma of dark dried fruits, plums, raisins, caramel, citrus, some wild accents. Taste of chocolate, dark fruits, raisins,caramel, some citrus hints. Low-med carbonation. Very tasty.

Cooking stoofvlees part 1. Uncertain of the vintage. 2010-2012 if I had to guess. Tasty but a hint over the top age-wise.
