From tap at Hopworks Urban Brewery, Portland. Aroma is sweet chocolate with roasted malt, coffee, caramel, cocoa, touch of raisins. Flavour is quite sweet and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium to full. Nice but a bit sweet for my taste.

Backlog October 2020. Looks amazing, pitch-black body under a perfect looking, dense, lacing beige head. Nice aroma, dark malt, chocolate, vanilla and hint of coffee. Taste has smooth roasted, dark malt, quite sweet, chocolate, caramel, hint of coffee and some alcohol. Balancing bitterness. Fine body and smooth, long lasting aftertaste.

Bottle 60cl. Black with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, spices, anise and licorice sense. Sweet with a long chocolate and anise finnish. Full bodied, like! Semi-finals Carabao cup, Chelsea- Tot. 2-1🍻🍺🍾

Bottle, 22 oz. A very dark brown beer with a small dark beige head. Roasted malts, molasses, caramel, dark chocolate and a touch of dark sugar and coffee in the aroma. Alcohol notes too. It's full bodied, soft and warming, with a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel and molasses in the flavor, all lasting for a good while. A very nice one indeed, tasteful and complex. 180623

Bomber from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of dark treacly malt with a chocolate note. Full bodied or so. Flavor is not at all dry; it’s darkly treacle, with a good amount of chocolate and some coffee which seems to provide the bitter which nicely opposes the malt.

650ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bubby, two-finger thick head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. A deep ruby tint to a dark, near-black, body. Doughy nose, hints of nuts and leaves. Solid taste profile containing nuts, earthy malts and chocolate. Lingering lightly roasted malty ending warming down the throat. Fine depth. Enjoying. (Shared at a session with Snegurochka, Finn and TheCellarer, Tårnrommet, Tromsø 14.11.2017).
