Ghost Dance marks the latest in our DIPA series that has contained Cochise, Sitting Bull & Geronimo. This big DIPA weighs in at a scary 8.5%. Hopped relentlessly with Citra & Ekuanot LupuLN2 powder, it's our first foray into the brave new world of cryo-hops. We followed up big whirlpool additions with a big post-fermentation dry-hopping of Citra, Ekuanot & Simcoe.
Finished at a higher gravity to give big body & full mouthfeel, caramel & toffee notes play with big hop-hits of resinous pine, citrus & stone fruit.

Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, light but with decent creamy sweetness. Mild caramel. Smooth resinous pine. Light and mildly sweet marmalade. Trace of fresher orange. Light finish. Nice, slightly old school but pretty drinkable.

On tap at Cask Pub & Kitchen, pours a hazy copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine and sweet caramel biscuity malt. Flavour is on the malty side, with caramel malt, sticky resinous hops, and some bready English malt. Sticky and malty, with a solid soft hoppiness. Very good.
