The ultimate yin-yang beer, Cosmic Pop hits the sweet spot between complex and twisting hop flavours and dark roast goodness.

It’s time to let loose your inhibitions and launch your mind into the stratosphere where darkness meets the light.

Hop flavours of grapefruit, lemon and pine are offset against a dark malt centre.

Cask at Lych Gate Tavern, Wolverhampton Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Has a vague aroma of malts, but not much more. Texture is fruity but slightly watery, and flavours are mainly fruity hops, darks fruits and grains. Some biscuit and hints of chocolate too. Finish is bitter but with fruity undercurrents. Not bad at all, but I was expect a few more hops.

CAsk at Cornubia - Bristol. Pours clear red-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Burnt pine in the nose, orange rind, modest roast. Light-medium sweet flavour with some grassy bitterness, more pine, burnt toast, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, a little resinous, some baking cocoa, more pine and grass. Sound.
