This classic beer style that has become one of the world’s most popular. The name is of German origin (and means ‘to store’) and refers to the beer’s ability to slowly improve while conditioning in comparison to many other styles.
Unlike a classic lager our modern interpretation offers more hoppy notes. The hops we use are meant to give the beer an extra dimension while still retaining a sense of lightness in a beer that’s easy to drink.

Tap @ nöjesguidens Ölmässa. Deep golden, lasting white head. Grainy, some glue, bready aroma. Flavor has grainy malt, cereals. Sweet finish. Dull.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Slightly hazy amber-golden colour with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet aroma with hay, fruits, grasses. Taste has a light sweetness. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with fruits and hay. Somewhat bland.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a white head. Malty, slightly caramellish aroma. Medium body, again a caramellish maltiness and then a slightly phenollic edge. I really don’t get the American hops - at all. 170115
