Bottle poured into a pilsner showing well filtered neon yellow with a finger of clean white foam and clear lacing. The nose shows clean citrus pineapple, pine, oranges, and light guava. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Clean and strong flavors of pineapple and guava throughout and well supported by a light malt backbone. Light bitterness on the finish.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent, nigh hazy, gold with a white head. Aroma of resin/citrus with a hint of pale stone fruit. Near med body. There’s a lot of hop in this, but there’s a lot of malt. Maybe more like med body. Flavor is sort of earthy/malty/pine/citrus. I’m thinking there’s a bit of hop burn. Very nice for a session ale.

(Draught at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 8 Sep 2016) Pale amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, orange, apricots and hints of resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of crystal malt, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit and a balanced citric, slightly metallic, bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh, tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

12 oz. bottle best by 11/24 so ~ 8 weeks old into a tulip. A: Roughly poured an inch of dense well-retained foam atop a body of medium gold with heavy pulp-like sediment. Nice lacing. S: Strong grapefruit scent. T: Bitter and dry taste ending pithy. The slightest bit of tartness midsip. No malt discernible. M: Very light body and mostly dry but with a light resin on the finish. O: Pretty good but simple. Not a fan of the coarse sediment but it looks good despite it. Fairly average all told and not cheap.
