Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Chestnut brown with a beige cap. Nose is caramel, sweet bread dough, clove, banana chews. Taste comprises toffee, banana, yeast esters, sweet licks, grains, light peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so offering.

Tap. Pours hazy deep mahogany, small beige head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is wheat, roasted malt, light biscuit, banana. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter, roasty wheat. Medium body. I actually thought this was solid enough if a bit nondescript.

Draft at Sonoma Springs. Nose is bready malt, a hint of banana, and light cloves. Rusty brown with a small beige head. Flavor is bready and fruity with light sweetness.

Draft a the brewpub. Dark amber reddy coloured pour halo off white head. Aroma is banana bread. Clove, nutty malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, some toffee, banana. Clove, phenol. Sweet. Wheat. Palate is a bit flabby. Moderate carbonation. Meh.

Draught at Sonoma Springs. Almost clear light brown liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of banana, jenka, grain, light toast, light bread and earth. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of grain, bread and banana. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Ok.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours deep amber-gold with a creamy tan head. Light tangy fruits in the nose, toasted wheat. Light sweet flavor with more toasted wheat, mild earthy bitterness, dried berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry and bitter on the finish. More wheat and brown bread, bitter earth, leather fruits. So so overall.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear, but dark brown. Dark malty aroma. Dark malty flavor. Mild bitterness - clovy. Finishes not too sweet. Drinks like a dream.
