This tripel is a hoppy blond beer brewed with generous amounts of hops and fermented with trappist yeast. All sugars and malt sugars are fermebted to make an easily digestible triple (since April 2009).

Above average tripel, with some nice spices and fruits and a thingling mouthfeel.

Bottled. Hazy golden, brief head. Fruity tropical fruit aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Slight marzipan, some white pepper heat. Mellow. Correct, but doesn’t stabd out amongs tripels.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma of peppery hay snd anise. Taste is slightly funky straw. Not bad.

7th January 2011
Cloudy orange - gold beer, tidy white head. Dry palate, a little frothy and airy. Creamy wheaty malt. A trace of orange. Strong tasting beer with a vague sourness. Doesn’t quite hang together.

from beer planet. cloudy yellow, smooth small white head. yeasty and yellow fruity aroma. very belgian, also well balanced. quite nice. flavor is yeasty, yellow fruity, alc. fruit peel, not very bitter, in fact dangerously easy-drinking triple, but not boring, lots of flavors from the yeast.

29/IX/2012 - 33cl bottle @ De Graal brewery (Brakel) with the Gentse Biervereniging - BB: I/14 (2012-1095)

Clear blond beer, creamy solid white big head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty spicy, bit of grains, wort. MF: lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: grains, little sweet, bitter hops, very spicy, some orange peel. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, some orange peel, bit spicy, dry ending.

33cl bottle. Golden beer with a large and almost white head. High carbonation at the beginning. aroma is moderate yeasty, slightly malty and spicy. Flavour has citrus notes, yeast and spicy traces with a final moderate bittery. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Belgian yeasty spicy and malty aroma with notes of brioche and grains. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly grainy malty taste with notes of white bread/brioche and a crusty note, accompanied by subtle fruity accents; mildly sweet and slightly bitter finish with grainy and spicy notes in the aftertaste. 03.X.11

33cl bottle, BB12/2011. Dorée brumeuse, col blanc épais avec énormément de sédiments de levure. Arôme levure avec note de malt caramel, houblon léger et ce profile de levure fermenté et de cave/sous-bois. En bouche, léger épices, malt caramel, aspect très grains et biscuité, sucre candi et tjrs une levure très présente, voire trop rendant le palais un peu spécial trop épais. Houblon reste discret. Pas certain de cette bière, palais ne me dit rien, très épais, avec une impression de grumeaux et levure.
