[1/30/16] Draught at Cooperage Brewing in Santa Rosa. Golden. Nice fruity hops aroma, "green" and a bit oniony. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, white wine notes, and fruity oniony hops with moderate bitterness. A bit too oniony, but still good.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is really nice with lots of nelson hop notes and some light oak presence. Lots of melon, white wine, and tropical fruit. Pours a somewhat hazy, copper color with medium sized, thick, white head with good retention as it recedes to a film that lingers. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some caramel and toasted bread notes. Some delicious tropical fruit, white wine and melon notes. Medium bitterness with a light berry hop note. A hint of alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice beer. So much classic nelson character that seems accentuated by the oak barrels.
