Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white topping. Good snout, lots of juicy citrus fruits, melon, papaya. Medium sweet flavour with rich pale bread, gooey melon, more papaya, tangerine. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Resinous on the finish, and lightly warming, with lots more juicy tropical fruits and restrained bitterness. Lovely.

Draft at RBWG: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma was super huge hops, citrus. Taste was hops juice bomb that hit the spot!

RBWG16 – the luncheon. Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a perfect hop hazed copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up thin yet thick sticky citrus hops and then some bigger pine hops and tropical fruity goodness. The taste delivers mango and grapefruit and danky spicy bitter onions hoppiness. Solid dangerously drinkable IIPA with plenty of bitter to resiny hops and then juicy hoppiness to round this thing out. Blimey! That’s good!

[1/30/16] Draught at Cooperage Brewing in Santa Rosa. Hazy golden. Aroma of fruity and oniony hops. Flavor has mild malt sweetness, bitter fruity oniony hops, and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Keg at the brewery tap, 30/01/16. Golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange squash, juicy hop strokes, light pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, toasted bread, straw, grapefruit, pine tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking DIPA.

Tap at the brewpub. Glowing hazy orange with a low head. Darnk nose of tropical fruits and peaches. Nice, full fruit flavor, good smooth, lively body. Not overly sweet or boozy. My favorite of the day.

Draught at Cooperage. Almost clear amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of mango, tangerine, light bread, caramel and grapefruit. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, tangerine, light caramel and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

The beer is a light golden color. Smallish white head. Little lacing. Fairly clear. Aroma is sweet with a nice enough hop character. It just has a little too much simple sweetness and a mild bubblegum note. Some honey, grapefruit juice, pineapple, peach, tangerine. Nice enough. Taste has moderate to medium bitterness. A little more sweetness than I want. Doesn’t show much booze - I really didn’t realize it was 9.3%. Drinks easily. Crisp for the alcohol content. Pretty good, just a little simple and lacks some hop flavor in the taste. Could use a little more oomph in the aroma too.

Draft at the brewery. Translucent golden orange coloured pour with a small lasting . aroma is nice tropical fruit salad, orange rind, mango, citrus rind. Flavour is composed of juicy hop, tropical , orange rind, mango, tangerine. Palate is composed of semi sweet. Highish carbonation, little hop resin. Good.
