The heart of our brewing art and traditionally good. Pilsner for the most sophisticated of tastes: The fine, crisp hops create a pleasant, slight bitterness. A delight for real pilsner fans.

Flasche (50 cl) aus einem REWE-Markt. - Goldgelb, blank.

Pours gold into the bottle with a rich, creamy head. Decent lacing. Aroma is a bit malty, and more skunky than I would like, though the skunkiness does fade. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Flavor is grassy, hoppy, grainy, rather rough around the edges. Dry lightly bitter finish. No surprises here. Another decent if unexciting German pilsener.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops, with some estery notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with subtle, sweetish malty notes and touches of yeast. Bitter aftertaste with mild estery notes. Clean and quite well-balanced. An okay Pilsener.
