Draught @ The Rover. pours clear golden with a frothy and bubbly offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is tiny malty, floral and tiny fruity with rustic dark bread, caramel, hay, minerals, lemon peal and hints of mango. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty, fruity and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent, very tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with crackers, rustic dark bread, caramel, mango, hay, minerals and lemon peal. I like how it’s not completely overwhelmed by the added mango and still has a lot of rustic pilsner in it but I ultimately think it’d be better without the mango.
