Bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours clear pale pink leaving some sticky legs on the glass with a swirl. Smell is floral, tiny herbal and tiny fruity with floral honey, Heather, lingonberries, dried cranberries, soil, alcohol and orange zest. Taste is sweet, tiny sour, floral, slightly herbal and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is flat, soft, tiny oily, tiny watery, slightly boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny sour with floral honey, bees wax, moist green herbs, lingonberries, orange zest and alcohol. Pleasant blend... Prominent honey character and light hints of both herbs, fruit and spices. Suiting for a hearty meal. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vinter on 06 Aug 2016 at 18:58 - Score: 7. Bottled, at SBWF. Pinkish pale yellow. Balsamic honey and red berries. Relatively sweet and mild, with soothing balsamic honey and some herbs. Mellow and pleasant.

Sampled at SB&WF 2013, on September 28, 2013.I believe this mead was only presented as a "first taste" at the festival and not meant for public review just yet, so I didn’t put in my rating until now when several others have as well.Clear peach color, no head, some legs left on the glass. Honey, sweet, berry, alcohol taste. Warming alcohol. Fire like alcohol on the tongue. Smooth mouthfeel, sweet finish.Sampled again from bottle at the "Göteborgs Porterfestival" 2013. November 16.Didn’t take notes.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2013) Pale rosé colour with no head. Fruity nose with lingonberries, red fruit and honey. Fruity, vinous taste with notes of red berries (lingonberries, raspberries), citrus and a semi sweet finish with a light acidity. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and very fresh. Quite nice.
