(Bottle) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with liquorice, pine needles, tropical fruit, pineapple, dried apricots, citrus peel and a touch of mint. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of coffee, liquorice, dried apricots, pineapple, grapefruit, mint, a touch of smoke and a balanced piney, citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced black IPA. Nice one.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av choklad, tropisk frukt, trä, rostad malt, citrus, grapefrukt, apelsin skal, farinsocker och torkad frukt. Lagom sötma, fruktig, fin beska med smak av peppar och grapefrukt.

33cl bottle @hotel room, Kalmar. Black color, brown everlasting lacing head. Roasted malty aroma, citrusy hoppy, some grapefruit Flavor has citrus, roastedness, oat, grapefruit. Smooth mouthfeel, very bitter. Lingering finish of roasted malt and grape. Solid BIPA, ok balance.

Keg at the Kings Arms - London. Pours unclear brown with a thick, tan cream head. Jammy berries in the nose, gummy fruits, grapes, bread. Medium sweet flavor, further jammy fruits, some bitter earth, wood, light alcohol, faint cocoa. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, further jammy fruits, a bit of bitter earth, gummy grapes, baking cocoa. Alright.

Keg at Kings Arms. It pours murky dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is fresh, perfumed, candy, Parma violets, toast, coffe, candied orange peel and fruit pastels. The taste is bitter, roasty, grapefruit, orange peel, charred wood, earth, potpourri, peppery notes, coffee and cocoa with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting, tasty and rather drinkable. Grade A cda.

330ml Bottle - Very dark brown in colour. Liquorice, fudge, roasted malt and soapy hops in the aroma. Hoppy, roasted and bitter taste with liquorice, coffee and soapy hops.

Flaska från SB. Närmast kolsvart med ljust beige högt skum. Stor humledoft med mycket citrus, men också lätta vibbar av rostad malt, choklad och kaffe. Humlen dominerar även smaken som är frisk och fruktig med tallskott och citrus. Munkänslan är mjuk och len, eftersmaken rejält citrusbesk men inbädda i mjuka rostade maltnyanser av kaffe, choklad och rågbröd. Inga brända smaker alls, fin humle, bra munkänsla och balans. Gott.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium, big bubbled light tan head. Aroma of tangerine, white pepper, mango, coffee, light ash, pine and grapefruit. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of coffee, white pepper, bread, tangerine and citrus. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty nice even if the body’s a bit watery.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours murky dark blackish brown with a rather small creamy dark mocha head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is is malty with roasted malts, caramel., moist grass, grapefruit juice, pine needles, resinous wood, dark roast coffee, lime juice, asphalt and hints of rubber. Taste is bitter, tiny fruity and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, salty liquorice, pineapple, grapefruit rinds, lemon peal, pine needles, freshly cut grass, burnt wood, moist soil and asphalt. Mouthfeel is dry, roasted astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, unripe tropical fruits, grapefruit rinds, lemon peal, pine needles, moist soil, burnt wood and orange peal. Rough but quite good...

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, small head. Minty pear and licorice up front. Dry with clean hard mouthfeel and medium body. Grassy, lime and mint. Mid bitter finish.
