Near black with a frothy tan head. Rich and roasty stout, with coffee and some smokiness going on.

330ml bottle. Thick black with a foamy tan head. Aroma is sweet milk and bitter chocolate. Flavour is dark roasted malt and leather. Not detecting much coffee

Cask at the Cask & Barrel, small stable creamy head, opaque black color, coffee, cocoa, earthy aroma, flavor of aromatic coffee, olives, mocha and dark bread, mellow chocolate bitterness, extremely smooth and mellow. Excellent.

16/9/2018. Bottle from flavourly.com. Pours black with a deep tan colour head. Aroma of medium bitter roasted coffee, dark chocolate, lactose, hops and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, some slickness to texture also a little watery, with soft carbonation. Nice amount of coffee to finish, easy drinking.

Bottle, gift from Stu. Black body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of coffee, rust and plum. Flavour of copper, nuts and coffee. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Better than expected.

Bottle from flavourly.com. Almost black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma and taste slight fruity sourness. Slightly light body.

330ml bottle from Scottish Real Ale shop, Callandar. Pours dark brown, medium tan head. Prominent coffee and dark malts in the aroma. Taste is lightly sweet, coffee, light grains, light body, hints of chocolate. Nice.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20k 15/01/2016. Thanks to the Wingman Dave. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting thin light tan head. Aroma is mineral, seaweed, charcoal, mineral, ashy. Flavour is composed of ashy, charcoal, nutty, tart raspberry, powdery choc, ashy finish. Palate is semi sweet, ashy, spritzy carbonation. Little papery.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Wingman. Opaque dark black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Thin and semi dry palate. Mild earthy coffee over modest dark chocolatey malts. Lihgt semi dry finish. Mellow roasty linger. A bit insipid.

Bottle split at Kenny 20K, thanks to the Wingmane, 15/01/16. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, fruit esters, spice. Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, chocolate, raisens, spice, fruit cake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.
