Bright citrusy unfiltered lager, this brew was borne of the brewers’ many trips to Germany. Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Noble Tettnang hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.

Draft. Another one I had at the Airport Hilton Knoxville. Really great balance. Much better then I thought it would be. Slight candy corn aroma. Caramel, hay and slight bitter taste. ark gold to brown in color. Decent head.

Slightly hazy golden pour, medium white head, good lacing. Lots of fresh cut grass in the first sniff. Bright grassy hops, smells like summer. Flavor is light, and full of fresh citrucy hops, and more fresh cut grass. The is quite bright, light and refreshing. Well done!

Draught, 2011. Pours a glassy, chill-hazed, brass-golden with a hint of copper. Large white head shows moderate-to-strong retention. Punchy and rather acidic, surprisingly, in the nose, with plentiful dough, biscuit and strong bread overtones throughout. Lemon and fresh herbs emanate from the hops, but there's a lot of excess bread and acidity here that reallly cuts the brightness. Just feels crude and heavy. In the mouth it's oddly sluggish and has a very full, chewy, thick texture with not so much too much sugar as just too much dextrine, bread and heaviness. Lemon, pepper, herb are all strong and show no finesse whatsoever. Ends bready and acidic. Heavily floral and borderline astringent bitterness at points.

Smell of fruits and herbs. Cloudy amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of lemon, yeast, coriander. Bitter and faintly sour. Very much witbier to it.

Hazy golden orange with a lasting off white head. Mild hop aroma, light sweet malts and a bit of honey notes as well. Smooth wet palatte. A nice pale lager with some flavor.
