Bottled. Hazy reddish brown, rich head. Perfumy nose. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Caramelly malt hidden in citric hops. Resiny bitterness. A very American style ale where focus in hops, clean and harmless malt is just there to support. Works fairly well.

Bottled:
Pours deep amber, almost red colour with a large, foamy head. Aroma is red berries and soap with some peat in the background. Flavour is ripe, red berries with some peaty notes. Long, metallic bitterness.

500ml - Dark amber with a foamy head. Malt, nuts, berries and hops in the aroma. Slightly sweet taste with roasted malt, nuts, tangy grapefruit and toffee detected. Nicely balanced and fairly enjoyable, although I was expecting more.

Bottle. Clear dark reddish with a huge head. Aroma and taste of smoke, orange, ash and some burnt rubber. Dry with a thin mouth feel. Not exactly exciting.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, deep amber colour with medium, off-white head with nice lacing. Aroma is quite faint but has notes of pine, citrus, onions? (summit hops playing their part), apricots and some caramel malts. Taste is maltier than the nose and medium bitter. A bit phenolic both flavour and aroma wise. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation and a bit watery mouthfeel. Nothing really interesting, as usual when it comes to Mohawk beers.
