This beer mixes British and Belgian brewing cultures. It is amber in color with intense citrus and floral notes. Hops and selected yeast strains mix in an array of fruity and floral notes of great elegance, intensity and complexity. The mouthfeel starts with a honey like flavor that turns into caramel and then evolves towards citrus flavors that merge into a spicy and pleasant bitterness.
Fun fact: It’s name is dedicated to Club Maledetto Toscano, a cigar club.

Malzig fruchtiger, stark hopfiger Antrunk. Eher geringe Bitterkeit, deutlich hefig. Angenehme Süße, die Herbe bleibt mild, langer hopfig süßer Nachhall. Gelungen! 10/8/9/9//9

Cloudy pale brown colour. Aroma and flavour are very malty. Just enough hop bitterness to balance it out. Really smooth and creamy texture.

Appearance: Dark orange brown, hazy. Just a bit off fizzy light tan head.
Aroma: Mostly malt, sweetness?
Taste: Malt, sweetness with some spices in there too. Pretty good with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Brown color with an off-white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of light toasted malts with slightly caramelish notes. Flavor is mild sourish with some fruity hints and slightly biterness. Fruity final with medium duration and slightly sourish aftertaste.

On draft at Trio in Kill Devill HIlls, NC. Pours clear brownish amber with a creamy ecru head. Light caramel nose. Flavors of root beer with some woody notes. Light bitter finish.

Swift, NYC tap: Pours orange red with a white head. Aroma is brett, tangy funk, and some fruitiness. Taste has some bite from the brettiness. Very lightly sweet. Kind of dry. A tad herbal. Not bad methinks.

Gusher. Dark amber with a big white head. Aroma of plum, apricut and pear, with malty notes and a little phenolic yeast. Sweetish flavour with malt and fruit, and a mild bitter finish.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a clear reddish amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth big fruit hoppy liqourice light mint bitter palate and a long fruity bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, 12C. Clear amber with a large light beige head that lasts very well. Aroma of light toffee, honey, bread, cloves, coriander, hints of grapefruit - malty with rather jarring spices. Smooth, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with grapes as well as the sticky breadish malt. Again the spices stick out a bit much and there’s a harsh, biting element to them, but there’s a lingering honeyed sweetness that’s nice. [3.0]Restoppered this after not much enjoying it and returned to it tonight thinking I’d lower the score because the harsh spice notes lingered forever. But tonight it’s softened considerably. Head around 3 inches, some floaties from the second half of the bottle. Still a bit much clove and coriander. Still not convincing, but much better.
