This beer mixes British and Belgian brewing cultures. It is amber in color with intense citrus and floral notes. Hops and selected yeast strains mix in an array of fruity and floral notes of great elegance, intensity and complexity. The mouthfeel starts with a honey like flavor that turns into caramel and then evolves towards citrus flavors that merge into a spicy and pleasant bitterness.
Fun fact: It’s name is dedicated to Club Maledetto Toscano, a cigar club.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to Fergus, 20/01/13. Hazed mid amber with a thin off white head that clears to a film. Nose is yeast, fruits, spice. Taste follows, dark fruit notes, grass, Belgian yeastiness, spice, herbal notes. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, dry finish. Decent enough stuff.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to mR_fr0g. It pours deep orange-amber with a massive yellow-white head. The nose is spice, metal, hay, orange, hint of ginger and honey. The taste is spice, orange peel, mango, apricot, honey, metallic and alcohol warmth with a dry, somewhat spicy finish. Medium body and overly carbonated. A touch too sweet for my liking. Ok.

Bottle from Eataly, Milan, 6% ABV
Dark amber color, hazy; generous compact head. The caramel and hop aroma has also notes of soil, and light flowers. Good caramel flavor, some nutty trait, a bit buttery and creamy, with strong bitterness and moderate hop qualities.
The dark caramel is too evident, the hop qualities not enough.

Pours dark amber with a small head.Nose shows funky brett-like notes, sweet malt and some over-ripe apples/peaches.Flavours focus on rich, sweet malt with very little hops, just a faint herbal and spicy note.Body feels too thick.
