(375ml July 2015 bottle from the Mikkeller Webshop) Pours very hazy pale orange with a small lingering cap of tiny white bubbles. Aroma is dominated by citrus and Brett horseblanket with a combination of sweet and tart notes. Meyer lemon gives a sweet, almost candied quality, supplemented by orange zest and lightly sweet lemonade, and some herbal and floral character. Flavour more tart than the nose, clear lemon flesh and rind notes, soft dry wheat malts and grain, kind of dusty feeling, Brett gives a wet straw funk to it. Lemon flesh and pith and funk all persist into the dry, slightly lactic-type tart finish. Fairly light body and effervescent carb. Meyer lemon is inspired here, juicy lemon character without over the top acidity.

375 ml. Bottle sampled thanks to kermis. Bottle says July 2015. Bottled on date I assume? Very hazy citrus with a thick head. Nose is huge citrus, lemon, sweet candy lemon & massive brett. Taste is basic lemon candy, some white bread & candy sweetness, huge brett, simple, easy… Body is massive brett, fun, easy & simple brew. Neat work, could have used less massive brett presence, some more conventional lemon sourness but this is still nice. Fun beer overall.
