Cloudy deep ruby to brown with no head. Thick. Forest berries, aronia, honey, berry liquer, oak tannins. Pretty sweet. Warming alcohol. Dense. Intense. A good dessert sipper.

Одна из лучших медовух от Шрамс. Очень глубокая по вкуса эта бойзенова ягода, словно обьеденили несколько ягод в одну. И сладость от черри и кислинка от смородины.

Tart boysenberry, honey sweetness up front and a semi-dry finish

Bottle shared down SMOD Xmas Eve 2022. Can’t fully remember where from, although Brewdog Sheffield rings a bell. “The fruit isn’t sticky but it’s vibrant and mouthwatering. Unreal easy drinking. High quality bev”. There you go. Wish I’d kept it for me and the missus, mind.

From 375 bottle. Pours a very dark purple color. The aroma is strong with mixed berries. The taste, like the aroma, is rich with mixed berries and some seeds. I find it difficult to identify any one berry. Mildly tart. The palate is full and oily. Finishes long and semi-sweet. Overall: The good folks at Schramm's continue to amaze me.
Sweet berry fruity with a supportive sweet honey and caramel backing, nice vibrant berry fruity throughout, light floral and herbal accents into the berry infused finish. Lovely stuff.

Intensely jammy and sweetish with some boysenberry, blackcurrant, raspberries and honey with hints of syrup and sugary notes, some earthiness.

Bottle. A- Boysenberry. A- Purple color, opaque liquid, no head. T- Boysenberry, honey, sweet. P- Medium body, luscious texture, flat carbonation, decadent finish. O- My 5,500th rating and my last ever RateBeer review. I saved this for a few years and planned to drink for my son’s birth day. Ended up keeping it a bit longer to celebrate 6 weeks of life, New Years, and the end of RateBeer. This was a quality mead as anticipated. Loads of fresh berry. Not had fresh boysenberry but I suspect this is it in liquid form. Had the 4th birthday release and about 5 years of age on it. What a bittersweet way to finish. Alas, F*ck you, AB InBev and XZ Ventures…thanks for letting us down with all the false hope and promises, JoeT. Cheers to the memories made and those that cared.

Bottle: Poured a dark purple-ish color mead. Aroma of strong raspberry and blackberry notes balanced against some great honey notes. Taste is also a mix of strong raspberry and blackberry notes balanced against some sweet honey notes. Body is full with an oily texture and light alcohol notes. Really enjoyable with a perfect balance of flavors and not too many residual sugar notes.
