500ml bottle from Morrisons. Clear gold in colour with a short-lived white head. Tired hops and cheap grain aroma. Sweetish, malty flavour with a hint of sugar in the finish. Not the worst lager out there.

330ml can from a supermarket in Nessebar. Decent white head. Pale golden body. Bit of sour grass to the nose. Hints of sour lemon in flavour paired with a touch of grainy malts. Dry, sweet and rather thin on the swallow (18.07.2009).

Bottle brought to me from Malt and Vine in Redmond, WA at the 8th Richmond Gathering on 06/06/2009. Clear pale golden body with a medium frothy white head. Somewhat skunky honey, corn and pale malt aroma. Honey, corn and dry grainy malt flavor. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

16.9 ounce bottle courtesy of maniac. Pours a pale yellow color with a thin head. Huge skunk in the aroma with sweet grainy notes. Taste is bitter and grassy with a sweet grainy finish. Thin bodied. Not good.

Huge, very dense yellowish head, rather stable over metallic golden beer. Creamy vanilla, creamrice, bit (green) leafy. Dull neutral to sweetish taste, grainy to malty, but dull, dull... Maybe a slight honey flavour. Beer is as dead as a corpse, belying the head on top. Slick; light to medium bodied. Aftertaste slightly almondy, and finally a tad of indifferent bitterness. For their beer, the Bulgar didn’t need to join EU... Thanks to Stefaan !

0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks! Poured pale golden body with medium sized head. Hoppy aroma, lemony, with some weak pale malts. Very watery flavor, quite fine base with combination of lemony hops and flowery malts, but so thin you simply can’t enjoy it. May be refreshing sometimes though. Medium carbonation gives nice bread finish, but as of its thin body its short. About flawless except of its wateriness and too boring as such.

0.5l can courtesy of a friend who lugged it halfway through the Balkans from Bulgaria (huge thanks, Krešimir!) Medium sized head that collapsed unevenly at a medium pace. Pale golden colour. Light hoppy nose, lightly flowery. Hmm. The taste is empty, a bit too much. Likable, very lightly piney, more lemony hop, and that’s all folks. Ok, no, there’s some vague malty breadiness and that’s all. Not offensive but weak and unremarkable. Hey, at least it’s not foul.
