Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy cloudy orange amber colour lasting beige head. Some funky aroma. Some lemon, some light red fruit. I thought very light, very refreshing, good mouthfeel. Some funk on the finish. Very drinkable though. Love the fruit. Yes some redcurrant and lemon.

Bottle @ tderoecks place. Many thanks! Dry and spicy beer. Some sourness from rooibos, tea-like. Dry finish. Not very nice.

Keg at the brewery. A hazed dark orange coloured pour with a lasting uniform beige head. Aroma is orange rind, French saison yeast, wheat and doughy grains. Flavour is slightly toasted, doughy wheat, some tea leaves. bready, orange rind, little berry. Some mineral. Palate is medium light, grainy, tangy, semi drying finish. Nice saison yeast character.

Keg at the brewery, 07/05/16. Hazel orange with a decent off White covering. Nose is floral, straw, Rooibos tea on show, herbal, spice, orange peel. Taste comprises sweet malt, tea leaves, caramel, light yeast, sweet and sour, tangerine, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but wouldn’t want a whole load of this one.

5/V/16 - 33cl bottle from Tilquin English Beer Festival @ home - BB: 21/III/17, bottled: 21/III/16 (2016-503) Thanks to ElManana for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, big creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: herbal, spicy, bit fruity, lemony (only noticed the Rooibos mentioned on the label when drinking, btw). MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, rooibos is present, bit sourish, herbal, grassy. Aftertaste: sour, spicy, herbal finish.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy burnished gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose definitely has some rooibos tea, lightly toasted wheat, yeast, citrus peel. Medium sweet flavour with further lightly bitter rooibos, some grass, pale grains. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with bitter tea, light astringency, more grass, lightly toasted grains, very faint leathery berries. Not bad.
