IPA – Dry hopped with Mosaic.

Our single hopped banger is back. Mosaic in the whirlpool to embed that spicy earthiness and then we dry hop with T90 and cryo pellets to make sure this beer explodes with a rainbow of blueberry, lemon peel, rose water and Juicy Fruit gum. Super creamy in the mouth, lively and loud.

Mosaic-hopped German IPA, draught at Struise shop in Bruges. Cobweb-lacing, moussy, snow white, slowly opening head, hazy straw blonde robe with greenish tinge. Aroma of passion fruit lemonade, pineapple juice, sweetbread, fresh dill, mango flesh, bread crumbs, white grapes. Cleanish fruity onset, lots of pineapple and passionfruit impressions, sharp and somewhat stinging carbonation (too much so for the style), bready 'white' malt sweetish body; aromatic hoppy finish, mango, guava and lime, adding soft herbal bitterness but much more refreshing and pleasant retronasal aroma. A bright, fragrant, well-made NEIPA style beer, though notably overcarbonated for the intended style.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 27 July 2017) Cloudy yellow colour with lasting white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, malty nose with notes of white bread, citrus, pineapple and lemon. Malty, fruity taste with bread, citrus, tropical fruit, lemon, grass and a gentle citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Draft @ Beer Temple. Cloudy yellow color. Thick rocky white head. Aroma's: refreshing, citrus, light resin. Retronasal there's much more fruit, citrus, tropical fruit, light sweetness, dank hops. Flavor is moderate sweet, light moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes somewhat dank, moderate bitter. Not bad for a German NEIPA I guess....

Draught @ Zeezicht, Breda. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is nicely hoppy, tropical fruit hops. Taste lightly malts, hops, lightly tropical fruit hops, lacks bitterness imo. Body and carbonation are a bit weak. Decent I’d say.

Keg at Craft Covent Garden. It pours turbid golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, very ripe fruits, peach, apricot, tangerine, guava and brioche. The taste is crisp, dry, decent hit of bitterness, floury white bread, zesty, zingy, a bit green, grassy, pine needles, ripe tropical fruits, guava, peppery spice with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Well put together.
