It is our interpretation of a Special Bitter with citrusy aroma and resinous, grassy notes. It has a medium body, a stable foam and light fruity hop notes. It pleasantly tingles on the tongue with a round sweetish malty taste that finishes in a dry bitter hoppy mouthfeel.

Can from Artisan-Ale.com. Almost clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, heavy caramel and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Very hard to beleive the 43 IBU listed on the can. 060521

Can 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a smallish, lacing off-white head. Nutty, toast nose. Medium body, again nuts, biscuit, slight caramel, subtle bitterness. Not sure about the Lux part, it's a good but pretty standard Bitter. 300321

Can 330ml (ArtisanAle)
Amber colour, small off-white head. Berryish, Brit malty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Some caramalt, berryness, grainy malts, English hops, low carbo. Come on ... 3.65 here is quite an overrate. Decent but average.

Bottle at a tasting. Assertively sweet with all kinds of sweetish flavours - red fruits, honey, caramelly. Really not an ESB and unfortunately not very enjoyable otherwise either. Slightly grassy and sourish too.
