Chapeau is us tipping our hat to Duvel’s Tripel Hop. This special beer was dry hopped with Citra to provide a fruity yet refined flavour whilst the earthy spiciness of the Saaz & Styrian Goldings hops contribute to a long, bittersweet finis

Can, gift from Andrew. Hazy deep golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, hard cheese and lemony hops. Flavour of grain, white bread and a nice hoppy edge. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A hoppy, slightly sweet beer.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Clear dark golden with a very thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit peel, yellow apple, pear, straw, citrus, mandarin. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of pineapple, mandarin & peach next to bitter stonefruit, sour young tangerine & straw; backed by honeyish & bready malt. Dry, floral hoppy finish, a bit piney, grapefruity too, with a lingering blend of tropical peach & classic apple. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice blend of Citra & Saaz, works fine.

Small rim over copperish clear beer. Decent bit of caramel. Bit of faint hops. And water. Sweetish with oxydized hops. Metallic impression; orange peel. Light to medium bodied, very slick, some alcoholwarmth, feels undercarbonated. Oops. What was the idea?

On tap at Fakin Craft Fest, Zagreb. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Yeasty aroma, banana, phenols leaning towards plastic. Lightly hoppy, citrusy, lemongrass. Orange peel, nice fruity hoppy component. Flavour is fruity, citrusy, tropical, stone fruit, light plastic. Juicy, nice use of hops. No bitterness. Medium body, strong. Smooth. Interesting.

Bottle picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at Isobel and Jude's, Builth Wells, Powys, Wales, Friday 15th February 2019. Pours clear gold, good clarity. It's got a spicy edge, soft in the mouth, a little warmth, nice bitterness but maltier than the Duvel Tripel Hop that it's tipping its hat to. Very nice.
