Hand-pulled half-pint at the Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 24th September 2023. Yip, it tastes of sweet apples.

Cask gravity at the walkhampton Inn dartmoor. A clear greenish yellow coloured pour with a small halo. Aroma fresh candy apple, bark, grass, plastic. Pear drop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, light tart, mellow carbonation. Flavour is composed of clean apple juice, light tart, bark, white sugars.

14/6/2019. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apples, caramel, brown sugar and a hint of wood. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet apple juice finish.

Bladder bag at Mill Hill Cask, Enderby, 16/03/19. Hazed golden with an off white head. Nose is apple skins, light barnyard esters, hay bale, farmyard essence. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, touch of funk, lightly smoked straw, grains, toffee apple, vinous twang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Good stuff.

From cask. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry apples. Citric snd zesty fruity. Sweet snd lingering fruity finish.

7 3 8 3 15 Cask shared at Angleterre, Helsinki. Near clear dark golden with a few white bubbles. Aroma of sweet red apples, big woody notes and apple core, light floral notes almost. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask at the Brighton Beer Dispensary, Brighton. Dark golden pour, maintains a white head. Baked apple and spice aroma. Spiced apple flavour with a hint of apricot. Not bad.

From a polypin at the Nailsea and Backwell beer and cider festival, 16/7/2016. Amber in colour and hazy with a touch of carbonation. Pleasant medium dry cider, with some juicy fruit, touch of oakiness and a lingering bittersweet finish. Good.
