Nice. Quite hoppy, citrus, light but further down there's a saison body to it, grainy, berries. Nice

Cette Super Fresca est un exemple d'équilibre qui démontre qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de faire des bières tonitruantes où alcool, IBU ou sucre sont portés à haut niveau pour faire une belle bière. Ici, la brasserie Tartaruga présente uniquement 6% et 55 d'IBU pour une bière racée, construite autour de son amertume saillante, mais excellemment bien accompagnée par sa base maltée plus douce et avec une présence en bouche et une longueur qui feraient pâlir plus d'une bière titrant à 8/9 %. Le visuel est quant à lui tout à fait correct avec un blond doré limpide présentant une mousse blanche nappant tout juste la surface. Le nez n'est pas particulièrement développé et laisse transparaître des arômes d'agrumes, d'herbes, de pomme, poire et mangue. Avec Galaxy et Citra je m'attendais à des arômes de fruits exotiques plus importants alors que ceux-ci sont relativement timides. L’houblonnage à cru vient sûrement donner la dominante aux arômes herbacés et d'agrumes. L'intérêt est cependant d'obtenir une amertume brillante. Et là où cette Super Fresca est très bien pensée c'est que la base maltée permet d'envelopper avec une douceur certaine mais sans l'atténuer, cette belle amertume. Dès l'attaque l'amertume est racée sur le pamplemousse la mangue, la pêche et le citron. La deuxième bouche est sur la lancée avec des arômes de pomme et de poire. L’arrière-bouche est sur une amertume un peu plus marquée, bien portée par le houblonnage à cru. Le final long est dans la continuité, dans la subtilité. Très belle bière.

Bottle from Poech73 as part of EU local swap 02/2019, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, yeasty and hoppy notes, light spicy notes, medium bitter. Light to medium body, malty bitter finisj. Ok.

Thuis uit een flesje. Mooie oranje, gouden kleur, goed schuim. Een uitstekend blond bier, volle smaak!

Cloudy deep golden colour, good frothy off-white head, dissipates slowly to a uneven thin layer, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, orange, lime, grass. Mild taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grapefruit, orange peel. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, piney notes, more bitter towards the end, light spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, tasty and well-made blonde, good.

F: huge, white, long lasting. C: gold, hazy with yeasty veils against the light. A: floral, passion fruits, orange, bit pineapple, grassy, tangerine, bit strawberries. T: light malty backbone, orange, tangerine, redcurrants, bit passion fruits, lemon peels, decent but long lasting bitterness, clean and balanced taste, bit yeasty, medium body and bit higher but not disturbing carbonation, very nice, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

0,33l bottle from Beergium. Hazy golden orange beer with medium white head. Aroma has fruits and yeast. Taste has yeast, pine, some bitterness and hints of fruits. Soft and even creamy beer with hints of pepper. Could be fresher. Medium body and carbonation.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, murky darkish orange color, aroma of stewed fruits, dairy and mineral hints, stewed fruits flavor with an empathic light herbal bitterness. Nice, a bit over the hill.
