Blue Dot is named after our planet: we are only a pale blue dot in this universe. Made with Organic Pilsner malt, Rye malt and a combination of intense hop varieties. Pour slowly to allow the sediments to remain in the bottle. Make every day Earth Day. Be something nice for your mother.

At the source: pours deep golden with white head. Aroma is citrus pine and nuggets. Taste is bitter but not too much so. Old school but not too malty or sweet. Easy to drink and pretty good. Definite rye notes in there.

Thanks Frank!
Bottle to tulip.
The appearance was a golden sunshine yellow color with a two finger’s worth of white foamy head. Seemed to really take it’s time in dissipating, I didn’t mind. Some heavy lace ran here and there.
The aroma spoke of some sweet to soft spicy rye, light floral hop tones, some herbal, light citrus, a touch of resin, light passion fruit and ended with some sweet fresh grassy tones.
The flavor came between the sweet to spicy portions and then subtly allowing the passion fruit to make a light presence. Not much of an aftertaste, seemed somewhat fresh piney to that passion fruit with a cohesive piney to grassy and passion fruit sweet sort of finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt spot on. ABV felt as projected. Bitterness was there yet contained enough to not impart much hop abrasion.
Overall, well, damn! I totally understand the hype train behind this one. I’m jumping on!

Original review text: Sampled at ACBF 2017, Vichte. Semi-hazy golden pour with a fine-grained off-white head. Notes of tropical hops, passion fruit, citrus, perfumey hops, caramel and a bit of honey. Really well-balanced, a pleasure to drink.
