Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#7. Paler golden, decent head. Floral-sweet hoppy notes, more genuine Belgian style aftertaste, which lingers. Good strength, good body. Found in Portsmouth on the way to the island.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally grainy, pale, wheaty and oaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of cereals, oat flakes, muesli, apricot, mirabelle, peach, a touch of orange and mandarine, honey. Taste is mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity, hints of apricot, mirabelle, peach, a touch of orange and mandarine, honey; a minimally alcoholic touch.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to coarse, dense, prickly to lively carbonation.
Harmonious, fairly complex, a "small" Triple in a way - not bad.

Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, herbal notes, lingering yeast and coriander notes, not really a dubbel imo a belgian blond, easy to drink, nice.

Trocken hefiger Start. Zunehmende Süße von geringem Level aus, dabei kommen milde Orangennoten hervor. Hellmalzig, minimal bitter, mittellanger Abgang. OK. 8/8/9/8/9/8

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianco sporco pannosa persistente, colore giallo arancio velato, al naso è intensa lieviti belgi scorza d’arancia spezie coriandolo note floreali, in bocca arancio candito miele coriandolo, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro accentuato. Buona gustosa ben fatta ma non chiamatela Dubbel. c. Luppoli e Uva Varese 02.11.24

Bottle at Toogoloog Middlekirke. Gold deep gold colour lasting white head. Some perfume on aroma. Some citrus. Some flowers. More flowers in the mouth. Not too intense. Base beer is a decent blond. It's decent enough. Quote light in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish. Quite light and agile throughout. Wouldn't have it again but it's interesting and fine. Bit too much on the flowers.

Blond colour with light haze and bright fluffy head. Quite a herbal aroma with some pepper, clove and a little citrus. Has a mineral taste. Base grainy sweetness and some kind of dry yeasty herbal finish.

Helder goudkleurig bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet en ietwat fruitig en kruidig met iets van sinaasappel, wat banaan met een vleugje koriander.

33cl bottle from Carrefour supermarket in Centre Commercial La Creule in Hazebrouck in France. F: medium, snow-white, average retention. C: blonde, hazy. A: malty, spicy, orange peels, wheat, coriander, fruity. T: malty, spicy, orange peels, a lot of coriander, fruity, this is bit crazy because “dubbel” should be dark but this is like kind of wheat ale good balanced but confusing with the name all together, yet nice balanced beer bit too over-spiced yet not bad for me, medium body and carbonation, enjoyed.
