Woooow. Or ¡Guuuau! Yeah, that’s what all the other artists murmur when they see the suave moustachioed Catalan strolling down the Rambla, generously dishing out beer to local artisans. Smoothly does it.

FEB-2020. Growler from Stația Rombeer. Opaque almost black, big mocha head with so so retention. Quite hoppy upfront - not too resiny, but there's a clear fruity hop note. Dark chocolate and deep roasty notes - subtle and balanced, not overdone or harsh. Some fresh cut pumpkin later on. The taste is balanced mild chocolaty dark caramel sweetness, robust yet fine roasty spicy hop bitterness. So fine and well done. A bit over-carbonated. 3,8/5.
MAR-2019. Old Batch #1 aged bottle. Opaque deep brown, big mocha head. The aroma is more into dark fruit and fruit cake than downright coffee and roasted grains, that mild fruit sweetness rather than candyish sugars. Light notes of basement / moldy barrel. Very mature and round - no sharp edges. The taste also has that fruit cake mellow sweetness - sort of like Belgian dark strongs, but then some neat balancing bitter chocolate and dry clean hop bitterness. Really smooth body, free of any possible flaws. This one had aged supremely well. 7-4-8-4-16-3,9.
SEP-2017. BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Opaque and almost black, giant tan rocky head (over-carbonated?). Smell nice - cooking chocolate, sweet cold coffee, some green hops. Similar taste, a tad of sweet dark malts sweetness coffee and a fair bit of spicy hops. Might not have the really smooth velvety feel of really good stouts, but still a very solid beer, especially considering it's the first batch out of a new brewery. 7-4-7-3-14=3,5.
