33cl bottle (2,2 €) from Auchan Cotroceni supermarket in AFI Cotroceni in Bucharest in Romania. F: big, light tanned, good retention. C: dark brown, hazy. A: malty, chocolate, dark bready, bit herbal, cocoa, bit dark fruits. T: dark malts, dark bread crust, bit chocolate, cocoa, dark dried fruits, medium body and carbonation, medium dry on the palate, ok not miracle yet not bad, enjoyed.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Miro. Pours brown with small beige head. Malty, caramel, some nuts, some brown sugar, bit yeasty. Sweetish. Medium bodied.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Băcănia Nouă, Iași. Murky red-brown, light beige head. Smells of roast cereals, prunes - both dried and fresh, a touch of stale barrel. Taste: somewhat harsh roasty bitterness upfront, moderate dark malts sweetness, notes of dark fruit, stale barrel. The finish turns to dark fruity tartness, hint of cheese dipped in black currant jam, moderate to strong hoppy bitterness with notes of ashes. And that lingering unwashed barrel taste... Promising, but flawed.
