Almost black in colour. Aroma has strong smokey and leathery tones. Flavour is smokey and meaty. The dark bittersweet malts show up at the end offering some treacle and tar.

Bouteille 33cl, sol in 3, thus far 2 for 2 on gusher. Bottled 08/10/2014.

7th Feb 2015; Brugge Beer Festival. Black/very dark brown body, beige topping. Heavy on the roasted malts in both the aroma and taste, bitter sweet chocolate with a bit of vanilla creeping in mid-sip. Hints of smokiness and some red berries later. Decent.

Thanks. Sampled draft @ BBF 2014.Black, mocha head. Sweet liquorish, roast, light vanilla nose; Taste is vanilla soy milk, mocha, roast, vanilla, cheap mocha, light roast, soy sauce,… Soy chocolate milk body. Pretty good. Way better than Maximo, slightly nicer than Deo due to touch fuller body. Pretty nice beer.

12/07/2015 @home 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Clear dark brown with nice tanned head. Roast, a lot of peat, caramel, some chocolate, some berries. Damn I really liked this one. Definetly the best for me Jef!

25/X/14 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 8/X/14 (2014-1140) Thanks to Jef for the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, irregular small beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit chemical, rubbery, band-aid, mainly on pouring or swiveling the beer in the glass. After a while the aroma tones down and you get notes of some chocolate, red berries, mocha, bit dusty, smoky hint even. MF: soft carbon, medium body, nice smooth creamy texture. Taste: little sweet, sourish, bit peated (I don't remember, did you put whisky malt in this, Jef? ;-), smoky, some caramel. Aftertaste: lots of peat, smoky, chocolate, red berrie,s touch of vanilla, little bitter, cocoa powder, hoppy finish. Very decent.
