0.33 l bottle from ''t Biermenneke' as 'Black Damnation 28 - Van Pouck Stout', 2019 vintage, bottled in December 2022. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and some dark ripe fruit. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty, slightly boozy and a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, roasted hazelnut, some licorice, a touch of dark ripe fruit and light vanilla, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, slightly boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Fairly heavy Imperial Stout with subtle barrel-aging.
