Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with beany coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, mocha, some spicy notes, espresso, light chili and cinnamon, a touch of vanilla and liquorice. Flavour is sweet with a solid roasty bitterness. Body is full. Another delicious variety of Bomb, rich and full with loads of coffee in particular. Lovely.

Bottle, 0.355l. Aroma of coffee, chili peppers, chocolate and nuts. Pours dark brown color with thin totally diminishing light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet and rich toasted malt and coffee, following is caramelly, nutty and grassy with chili peppers’ note, mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Hot & spicy bomb…

It’s a lot. And it’s hot. I’m annoyed.
Happy birthday. To me!

bottle, 13% 2018 version assumed looking at label and crosschecking with untapped. Pours absolutely black with a small dark brown head. roasted malty aroma with notes of coffeee, licorice, wood. very robust aroma. very solid coffe and roasted malty imperial stout, a bit of cake frosting too, but the coffe and roasted malts dominate which I believe is a great thing. there is a little bit of a chili bite but it is almost only there if you look for it, otherwise it would probably come off as just some coffee bitterness. quite balanced but not velvety or super mixed, perhaps the chilies stand out too much for that. pretty good imp stout.

Magus, šokolaad, vesine, õrn tšilli köögiviljasus, röst, soja, linnased, kakao, väga mahe, kerge paber taustal. Ok, 13% ei tunne.

Bottle. Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some toasted malts, coffee and some mild fudge and caramel to it. Flavour is liquorice, toffee, coffee, some slight alcohol sweetness with mild chocolate and fudgy sauce to it. Smooth and in a nice balance.
