Hori blind tasting at Hopa. Bottle, pours semi clear ruby with no head. Nose is cherry, marzipan, leather, funk, earthy notes and wood. Taste is funk, earthy notes, acetic acid, wood, leather and a surprisingly subtle cherry character, based on the aroma I expected more of this. Closes with a funky, acidic, slightly fruity dry finish, has a light to medium body and soft, sparky carbonation.

Bottle under big pressure.
Pours dark pinkred. Pinkwhite, rather large head fades fast. Scent is rich, aged candy, cherry. funky lambic back, woody. Taste is full, sharp tartness, rich funkyness, very oaky. Chedrries still very present. Very drying, medium body, medium high carbo.

2020 75cl bottle, limited edition, tasted apr 09 2024 slightly sweet but also sour woody leathery aroma, sweet cherries, faint cheese, leather, complex aroma. Flavor is sour belgian beer, tempered with sweet cherries, a little bit of wood and some fruit stone, a little bit of leather, very decent kriek, but not over the top one of the very best. The bottle has kept well, behaved well when opened and does not taste weird or bad or anything.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, vintage 2020, limited edition, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Shared with my son. ABV is 7.0%. Clear and deep red colour, like a fine claret, shortlived pink head. Lovely aroma of farmhouse and cherries. Sour flavour of brettanomyces, sour cherries and lemons.

Clear ruby red beer, small creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very funky, lots of cherries, dry impression, bit spicy, pretty nice! MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, very fruity, lots of cherries, nice clean acidity, juicy, spicy touch. Aftertaste: very sourish, lots of cherries still, bitter touch, some tannins.

Bottle @ EtreGourmet. Shared with SirAlex. Pours hazy deep red with a pinkish head. Sweet and ripe cherries. Good ones. Jammy with a lot of dry wood and a touch of funk. Dry finish. A delight!
