Botella 75cl

Tasting at Brian's; corked bottle; 7.2% ABV
Opaque dark ruby colour. Intense cherry aroma, light funk. Dry and astringent, farty cherry, a bit too aggressive in the finish, but very good overall.

Bottle - Nice sweet and sour cherry. Deep red with a small white head. Soured cherry, nice depth of sweetness and pit.

Dark purplish-red. The aroma is cherry, almond, wood. Lots of tartness, very woody, a light almond (cyanide, aka cherry pit) note, and then some dry, earthy dried cherries. Yeah, this is really nice.

750mL bottle, explodes upon dislodging the cork, pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium pink head. Aroma is wonderfully funky, with lots of barnyard funk, lightly tart cherries, and some oak. Flavour is intense, with very tart cherries, plenty of barnyard funk, lots of citrus, and a little oak. Very citric, with tons of tart cherries on the finish without too much acidity. Lovely.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright red color lambic with a huge bright pink color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart cherry notes is pretty intense with some oak notes also perceptible. Taste is dominated by huge flavours of fresh cherry notes with some tartness, oak and light acidic notes also perceptible. Body is full with good carbonation. Great cherry lambic and one hell of a fruit to beer ratio.
