Baeren Festbier 6% Orange brown with a thick light beige head. The aroma is a toffee biscuit with light herbal hops. Yum. Medium bodied with a bitter hop bite on a molasses biscuit malt body. This is a crisp and clean take on the style. I’m digging it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Rich caramel and chocolate nose, with raisins and other dried fruit. Very malty. Dark brown with orange and a bubbly, thin, head. Rich caramel malt: sweet, but not overly so. Cherries, bread, nice chocolate. Not very bitter, but a bit roasty, and sweetness remarkably well controlled. Full, rich, chewy body. Quite fruity as well—dried and otherwise. A dunkel for sure, and a very good one.
