Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal is generously hopped for a long, spicy finish. An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and rich sauces.

Keg at Leilainis on the beach, Kanapali, Maui 26/04/14. Hazed reddish amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bitter orange, light perfume, caramel, hint of spice, pine notes, pommegranate. Taste comprises caramel, light tropical fruits, pine, blood orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with subtle hop bitterness. Ok hoppy red, drinkable enough drop. Surprised to find this classed as an APA, any other beer of this ilk I’ve had has been down as an amber!

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Cleaer pale amber lasting off white head. Sherbert hoppy aroma. Sherberty some grapefruit. Yes quite fresh and a likeable APA. Yes it’s a good APA. Hoppy sherbert, touch of crystal malt but not too much. Only a little bitterness. Good.

Sample @ Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit, with faint estery touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with smooth notes of citrus and touches of grass. Slightly rough and citric aftertaste. Good stuff.

Bottle at Big Bite. Sweet maple aroma with a bit of grassy hops. Taste is also honey-sweet (not overly so) with hoppy dry finish. Better than expected.

Poured from a bottle it is a cloudy ale that looks like raspberry soda and has a slight head. It has the aroma of malt and tastes bitter and is hard to discern it lingers long on the palate

Pours a hazy amber with full, creamy head. Aroma wafts from the glass, nice mild hoppy nose. Flavor is right on target too, initial hops bite, with malt and spice flowing behind. Short pleasant lingering finish. This is nice....
