Maroyaka Kobo

Unfiltered chilled lager. Cloudy yellow-gold color, with a huge fine head. Malty aroma, creamy, round and rich. Fruity with hints of citrus (grapefruit), light on hops but they’re there. Mellow malt flavor, creamy and rounded, fruity with citrus. Medium hops, decent balance. Light and smooth. Creamy finish with malt and yeast, little hops. Fruity. An interesting, smooth and mild beer, yet reasonably rich. Double the hops and you would have a great beer.

This hazy golden beer doesn’t know what it wants to do. It has a yeasty mouth with some cloves and is slightly tart and has a light finish. Usually Kirin’s beers are well made, this is not.
