Keg at the taproom, PDX, 09/11/14. Black with a moderate tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is light roast, earthy cocoa, dark toffee notes. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee, vanilla, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smei drying close. Ok porter, simple but ticks the style boxes.

On tap at Bridgeport, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of coffee and a touch of coffee. Flavour is light, with dry cocoa powder and a touch of coffee. Decent porter, but rather boring.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep chocolate hue with a medium white head. A sweet nose of light roast some dark fruit. Pretty big flavors for how light it is. Sour metallic flavor, chocolate, mostly dry. Good.

Not 100 % sure about the name, this is what I heard from the waitress and it was a new seasonal. Dark opaque brown color, small beige head. Caramelly, ashy, toasted candy aroma with hints of mint and coffee. Light to medium-bodied. Tobacco and cold coffee in the flavor. Dry coffeish-ashy finish and aftertaste.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours black with a medium light brown head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee aroma with touches of smoke and chocolate. Medium, dry body with flavors of toasted malt, coffee, hops and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
