Double Trouble lives up to its name. On the maltier end of the spectrum for IIPAs, featuring roasted malts, a range of fruity hops, a touch of sweetness and an endearing richness. A real treasure.

Bottled. Pours orangey gold. Lots of hops hit you. Citrus, pine, resin, pretty well done and hell, it’s founders.

Im not sure im a fan of these dipa’s that try and atch the malt to the incredible amount of hops. Huge amount of resinous piney hos, light citrus, but there s also a huge malt bill tht kicks in copious amount f caramel hops with some nuts. This is bordering on american style barley wine. Great beer, but i refer the california style dipa’s. Unbalanced and nothing but hops.

Nose starts with overripe tropical fruits, than faint apples and going to red berries. Cool. Intense hops. Long, bitter finish

From bottle to glass. Pours copper-orange with sustained white head. Orange and dank aroma follows through to a cloying /sticky citrus and dank flavor. Overt crystal malt.

Draft, pours clear copper with thin but dense white head. Full bodied. Grapefruit aroma. Malt foundation with more resin than citrus hops in the smooth taste. Piney bitter finish. Mighty fine.
