A golden ale with Powdered Japanese green tea in it. Aroma of bitter green tea, golden malt, some citrus fruit. Rather nasty. Pukey light green color, head vanished in 10 seconds. Bitter, slightly sour, stange flavor. Tea is strong, beer weak. Almost no sweetness, which is the only good point. Some citrus fruits as well. Doesn’t work with the golden ale. Weizen would have been a better base. The tea acts like hops as a bittering agent, and that aspect seems to work, but nothing else does. Someone had to try it here! Not badly made--it just doesn’t work!
