Tap at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, 17/02/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white cover. Nose is a lightly bittered fruit mish mash, bread dough, orange peel, caramel, ripe orchards. Taste comprises caramel malt, vanilla fudge, candied orange peel, soft bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Ok easy drinker but falls way short on the flavour front for 8% ABV!

On tap @ Schouskjelleren. As good as crystal clear in the glass this one with a deep golden color and a nice big really dense and creamy off-white head. The aroma has a nice sweet fruitiness with lots of caramel and wood juices. It's above average on the carbonation and light oily in the mouth. Taste like an imperial pilsner. It definitely has some alcohol, but it's in no way disturbing. Lots of more fruity flavors here. Old ripe bananas and apples. It's quite malty and perhaps a bit sweet at times but it's still quite drinkable for a beer of this caliber. Ends with traces of sweet biscuit and sweet malts. All in all not bad at all. 15.10.2013

Moderate corn nose. Hazy amber, medium foamy head. Surprising intensity, very lagery, corn is dominant, just sweet enough to temper the intensity. Grass appears at midpalate, significantly strong for the style. Some cherry notes are also present. Medium body. I have not had a great deal of experience with this style, but this is by far the most memorable.

Single bottle from Lemon Tree. Pours a light amber color with a bubbly head that settles into suds. Slightly woody smell, light malt nose.Taste has malts and noticeable alcohol. Hops are pretty bitter, yet medicinal. The bottle has a DOB of 4/29/13, so it could be hops, or it could be going phenolic. I still like it, though. Drinking it down just builds up the hops. Like a slap in the face.
