1 year old bottle. Dry chocolate aroma with roasted malt, coffee, burnt wood. Rather sour as well. Pitch black with a medium tan head. Very chocolaty flavor, with roasted barley, coffee. Rather fruity as well, which isn’t necessary. Also flavors of wood and smoke, maybe some soy sauce too. A little too confused. Coffee like finish is strong. It was better fresh and on tap, where it was just hugely chocolaty, but still too sweet. .

Dark brown color. Almost non-existant nose. Huge chocolatey off balance mess in the mouth. Yucky chocolately finish. Nice packaging, but that is about it. Drank 2009 in 2017. Dark brown color. Much better chocolate character. Off sweet with some dark cherries. Much better than the 2.4 rating I gave it before
