So good it’s almost wrong. Dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts. Complex in finish, with hints of smoke and peat, paired with a malty richness and a right hook of hop power to give it the bad attitude that a beer named Dirty Bastard has to live up to. Ain’t for the wee lads.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde; bottled 17/8/18. Hazy dark brown, big, foamy, beige head. Warm and intense aroma of butterscotch, marmalade, dark honey, fudge, candied plum, date, sugared peanut, milk chocolate, cookie dough, coffee liqueur, triple sec, liquorice. Taste has sweet to very sweet prune, date, fig & pear; caramelly and marmalade-like maltiness with 'buttery' fudge and milk chocolate adding to the sweetness, hint of nuts toning it down a bit as well as a light toasty, herbal bitter edge. Ends herbal hoppy, nutty, very slightly toasty before caramel & candied fruits kick in again along a warming dash of liqueur alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Can. Dark ruby colour, head does not stay long, fair lacing. Aroma is lots of sweets, strawberry, toffee, warming alcohol. High sweetness, slightly bitter. Good, but you need to like sweet beer.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 07.05.18. Excellent aroma of dried berries, malt, roasted nuts and dates. Fine taste of dates, dried berries, vintage plum jam, roasted almonds and chocolate.

Dark brown with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a load of sweet malts. There's a lot of complex fruit sugars present giving a feel of caramelised strawberries.

Opalescent brown colour, minimal yellowish-beigeish head; aroma of gingerbread, licorice, caramel, some leather and alcoholic notes; taste of burnt honeycomb, some licorice and alcoholic notes; great one! many thank, kapusil!

0.355l bottle. Slightly hazy dark orange/body with a thin orangish head. Aroma and taste of gingerbread, raisins, caramel, licorice, toast, orange zest and apples. Very nice.
