I'm a Pale Ale brewed in Canada.

Our Pale Ale is influenced from all over the world for a well-balanced and flavourful Ale. English hops are added for floral and earthy tones; German hops for soft bitterness, and American hops for pine and citrus aromas. We only use fresh ingredients.

Medium hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, and slight pine. Touch of malt, btut mostly hops in the flavour. A good APA, but Mill Street Tankhouse is still your best bet for an APA in Ontario.

This pale ale poured a hazy med yellow colour with a creamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, dough and light perm solution. First swig was slightly sweet with flavours of corn, earth and hops. Finish is hop bitter with light corn flavours lingering.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light citrusy and toasted malty. Bitter and light herbal. Dry hoppy and bitter. Toasted far finish.

On tap at my uncle’s place how cool is that? A clear honey gold holds a nice rich malty  aroma. A surprisingly hoppy taste, light pine that slowly build in bitterness. Clean and simple. This was the end of the keg.

Bottle - Smells of pale malts and some a weird off note. Clear copper with a nice head. Grains and light earthy bittering hops. Although something odd in the nose, is tastes just fine for an English style pale ale. Doesn’t quite have the oomph required for an APA.

Finally get a chance to try this one (as I forgot to pick it up all these years). Bomber from the LCBO. Pours a slight hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and creamy-foam lacing. Sweet malty nose with hints of honey at first, but the toasty caramel malts and biscuit come out giving hints of butterscotch. Not much hop in the aromas, but found in the taste covering the milder malts. This gives the wet mouthfeel a little dryness. Refreshing flagship beer, but a little light for today’s Pale Ale standards. More malty than hoppy.

Bottle from the Beer Store. Pours a cloudy pale orange with a big white head. Nose is toasted malts, biscuit some very light citrus notes. Sweet malt start and subdued caramel and citrus. Only minor bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Needs a little more character.

A little hops, some character in a lemony sense, or at least some kind of citrus. Decent, even a little more interesting than your average pale ale. Had a sample of this at a stand in the lcbo. Worth finding again.

(bottle) clear medium amber colour with small white head; aromas of candy, fruit; flavour is a letdown after the aroma - simple, mineral/ashy; with long medium bitter/mineral finish
