330 ml bottle. Pours a thick black with short dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, graham cracker, sweet bourbon, coconut, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Rich flavors of tonka beans, bourbon, syrupy chocolate nougat, light toffee, cinnamon and oily roasted malts. Warm finish. Stellar.

11/1/2023. Bottle shared by G&E at Ølhulen, many thanks. Pours rich black with a small tan coloured head. Super aroma, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate. Very smooth. Quite sweet but with well balanced bitterness. Lovely stuff.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, cinnamon, coffee, vanilla and hops. Nice roasty finish. Lovely.

Batch 434. Black, small dark brown head. Smell is lotsa tonka, cinnamon, bourbon. Medium thick, but super smooth, pretty boozy, ends a tad drying. Taste is spiced, lots of cinnamon, plenty tonka, ends pretty bitter. Not as brilliantly decadent as I recall

Bottle from Beer dome. Black with quickly disappearing brown head. Loads of bakers chocolate, some cocoa powder, a bit of vanilla and wood. Tonka very prominent when cold but (thankfully) fades as it warms. Some spices and a bit of heat. Very nice.

Bottle split at the first Canary Wharf / Westferry Circus tasting in 2.25 years ... who knew back then ... thanks to The Osprey, 09/06/22. Light black with a good sized tan cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is ripe bourbon, spice, cacao nibs, vanilla, light roast, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises rich roast, coffee, brown sugars, molasses, spice, bourbon. full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good kiss of alcohol. Solid BA impy.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Dan. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Moderately sweet, thick, fudge, ashy roast, dried berries, roast, earth. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky, ashy roast, torched wood, cocoa. Nice overall.
