An annual limited-edition brew, Fuller's Vintage Ale is the most special beer to leave our Griffin Brewery each year. Every Vintage Ale recipe is unique from the last - yet all have to mature, with the flavours developing over time.

For the Vintage Ale 2019, we have traveled 12,000 miles for inspiration, as West London meets South Island New Zealand. Wai-Iti hop brings mandarin, lemon, and lime to the fore, whilst Crystal malt - grown on the New Zealand's Canterbury Plains - adds notes of toasted bread and honey. Looking a little closer to home, our famous Fuller's yeast gives the beer its familiar orange marmalade backbone.

0.5bottle. A sör úgy szép, ahogy van. Sorszámozott, diszdobozos, gyönyörű üveg és maga a sör is... Kicsit zavaros de szép gesztenye felbarna, hab cappuccino, hosszan tartó. Aroma: picit boros, mazsolás jegyek, gyümölcsös, malátás, nem annyira intenzív. Test közepesnél erősebb, eléggé szénsavas. A 8.5 alkohol eléggé érezhető. Íz: többnyire melengető alkohol, amúgy karamell és, pörkölt malátás, aszalt szilvás. Ahogy melegedett komolyabb lett. Szép és komoly sör, bár a díszdobozosok közül eddig ez a leg"gyengébb". Meleg szívvel ajánlott!

Sharing this bottle with Raoul, at the pibar, on wednesday. Since a long time that I didn't drink this beer. In my point of view, it is a great ale, high fermentation, subtle, malty, subtle sweetness, fruity, plum, toffee, bitter at the final, crazy, 23.03.24

Bottle. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is toffee, dried fruits, bread, light old school aroma hops. Taste is slightly on the sweeter side, but there’s also some hop presence in there too. It shows toffee, bread, caramel, dried fruits and some herbal notes. Closes with a bittersweet finish, it’s got a medium finish and soft to average carbo.

Bottle from the lcbo. Dark brown pour, with a large off white head. Aroma is very bready, lots of sweet malts, strong sherry notes, light pine, and earthy cereals. Mouth feel. Is creamy, and the carb is soft. Finish is medium bitter, alcohol is well hidden, incredibly malty, sweet caramels, light hops. Drink it now, I don't think age will benefit this one, it will just get sweeter.

25/1/2025. Bottle at the ITFC vintage and rare Saturday share part 1. From Fuller’s online store courtesy of ITFCDan. Bottle #122701. Pours clear dark amber bronze brown with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is warming, caramel, biscuit, orange rind, dried fruits. Fairly sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. A lot better than the 2024 tried before this.
